We all have concerns about our health, appearance
and how we will age. As a fitness professional I have
found that the fundamentals of good quality of life is a
combination of, what you eat, how you eat it. How
active we are and how patient you are.
At age 44 I have found that cardio exercise just wasn't
enough. I discovered that endurance (weight) training
turned my life around. My bone density has increased
along with my body strength. I have tripled the amount
of weight I can endure. I have also concentrated on
core stability, which I think is the most important part
of total body fitness.
Studies also show a reduction in stress levels in
individuals that do some form of daily exercise.
Improving lipid (cholesterol) levels is also a known fact
about exercising. As well as lowering blood pressure
and reversing type II diabetes.
"SO! WHY NOT EXERCISE."
